WHAT IS LIVE SCAN?

Live Scan is a criminal background check often utilized by an employer or other institution that uses state of the art computers to collect finger prints electronically.

At 3rd Watch Security we carry the latest and most up to date machines to make your live scan experience quick and effortless.

We’re also portable if you have a group that needs us to meet you at an off-site location.

WHO NEEDS LIVE SCAN?

All types of individuals are required by the state and federal governments to get Live Scan, including: realtors, notaries, foster parents, teachers, massage therapists, appraisers, caregivers, investment brokers, contractors, nurses, doctors, security guards, volunteers, lawyers, and more.

HOW DOES THE PROCESS WORK?

Your fingerprints are processed electronically and transmitted immediately to the central computers at the Department of Justice (DOJ) for processing. The Live Scan process gets results to employers and licensing agencies within a few business days.

At 3rd Watch Security we carry the latest and most up to date machines to make your live scan experience quick and effortless.

Please note we never receive your results. We only process the rolling of finger prints.

We’re also portable if you have a group that needs us to meet you at an off-site location.
